Cal\u00f3 des Moro<\/h2>\n

This small cove, located in the south of the island, has the clearest water of all the Balearic Islands, similar to a natural swimming pool. Cal\u00f3 des Moro, located two nautical miles from the port facility Port de Cala Figuera in Santany\u00ed, is a spectacular enclave, perfect for diving and anchoring small boats.<\/p>\n

It is barely 30 metres long and 20 metres wide and year after year it tops the list of paradisiacal beaches in Spain, and there are more than enough reasons for this. The anchorage is exposed to winds from the east-southeast, with a sandy bottom, a depth of 3-4 metres and offers protection from the northeast.<\/p>\n

It is undoubtedly one of the busiest beaches in the south of the island, but also one of the most beautiful, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets.The waves are low and ideal for enjoying a good swim in the area. Cala Fornells<\/h2>\n

Cala Fornells is a hidden gem on the southwest coast of the island, in the municipality of Calvi\u00e0. This small cove is known for its natural beauty and its quiet atmosphere, ideal for anchoring.<\/p>\n

This cove is characterised by its formation from a small sea inlet, with coarse-grained sand and crystal-clear waters of impressive beauty. It also offers protection from southerly and westerly winds, making it an ideal place to enjoy a quiet and relaxing swim.<\/p>\n

It is a perfect place for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy a quieter and more serene atmosphere, relax and enjoy the sun.<\/p>\n

Cala Ratjada<\/h2>\n

Cala Ratjada is one of the island’s paradisiacal destinations, especially for those arriving by boat. This locality has a beautiful beach of fine sand and crystalline waters.<\/p>\n

Although it is easily accessible for sailors, it is important to take precautions when anchoring, as it is a rocky area with difficult access. However, most of the seabed is sandy and provides protection from the north-northwest. In this area, you will find uncrowded and quiet beaches, ideal for swimming, as well as interesting places such as the Capdepera lighthouse. It is undoubtedly a special place to enjoy the sea and its natural charms.<\/p>\n

Cala Pi<\/h2>\n

Cala Pi is one of the most famous coves on the island and its occupancy during the summer season is medium to high. It is located on the edge of the village of Cala Pi, in the municipality of Llucmajor.<\/p>\n

This cove is easily accessible and has tourist attractions in addition to its natural surroundings. On the one hand, on the right side of the mouth of the torrent, there is the cave of Vallgornera, a Talayotic cave that is believed to have been a tomb (it is currently protected by the Balearic Government and its access is restricted) and on the other hand, in this area you can also find the famous Mallorcan houses built on top of the cliffs.<\/p>\n

To anchor, you can use the anchor, as long as you do not damage the posidonia, or you can use mooring lines. The depth is approximately five metres and offers protection from the north.<\/p>\n

Es Carb\u00f3<\/h2>\n

The beach of Es Carb\u00f3, also known as Platja d’es Carb\u00f3, is located nine kilometres from Colonia de San Jordi and is undoubtedly one of the favourite areas for sailors to anchor.<\/p>\n

The seabed of Es Carb\u00f3 is made up of fine-grained sand and is covered with posidonia, so it is important to be careful when anchoring, as 250 metres from the shore there is a depth of 2.5 metres and there are islets that can make it difficult to manoeuvre. This beach offers protection against winds from the south and east.<\/p>\n

Es Carb\u00f3 offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy its crystal clear waters, the natural beauty of the area and to enjoy a relaxing and beautiful experience on the Mallorcan coast.<\/p>\n

Mondrag\u00f3 Cove<\/h2>\n

Situated in a beautiful natural park, Cala Mondrag\u00f3 is one of the most impressive places in Mallorca. Also known as Cal\u00f3 de sa Font de n’Alis in Mallorcan, this beach is located in the southeast of the island of Mallorca.<\/p>\n

The cove’s anchorage is protected from the north to south-westerly winds thanks to the rocky massif that surrounds it, making it an ideal shelter for a night or two. It is a perfect place to anchor in peace and quiet, however, it is important to take caution before dropping anchor due to the presence of posidonia banks.<\/p>\n

This cove is widely recognised and constantly appears on lists of the best beaches in the Balearic Islands and even in Spain. Without a doubt, this is reason enough to highly recommend you to visit it.<\/p>\n

Figuera Cove<\/h2>\n

Cala Figuera, located approximately 13.4 kilometres from Puerto de Pollen\u00e7a, is an impressive U-shaped inlet of the sea that leads to a beach surrounded by cliffs.<\/p>\n

The seabed offers conditions for anchoring that are not dangerous when the wind blows from the north to the northeast. Moreover, the depth reaches five metres two kilometres from the shore and one and a half hectometres from the coast. In the interior of the cove there are some islets, so it is advisable to enter with a boat on the left side of the islets.<\/p>\n

You should bear in mind that during the day and in high season you will find numerous boats at anchor, but in spite of this, the atmosphere is very pleasant. Places of interest near this cove include the neighbouring village of Santany\u00ed, with its charming old town and the Cueva del Drach, famous for its impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations, charming places that offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and natural beauty of the island.<\/p>\n

Coll Baix<\/h2>\n

Surrounded by lush pine trees and majestic cliffs, Coll Baix, located on the north coast of Mallorca, is a real hidden gem in the midst of a breathtaking natural environment. With a width of 75 metres and deep waters, it is a perfect destination for those who enjoy sailing in small boats.<\/p>\n

Its beach is composed of coarse-grained, dark grey sand and pebbles and crystal-clear waters that invite you to admire its unique natural beauty in a serene environment far from the crowds.<\/p>\n
