Born in 1957 and founded by Henri Jeanneau, this Gallic shipyard has turned into absolute reference into the world of leisure navigation, so much in his sailingboats as in his motorboats. At the beginning and middle of the 60s, respectively, the first ranges of motor and sailing boats were born. They have been evolving from what today we would consider an embryonic navigation of leisure up to what it really is nowadays.

The shipyard keeps on working with the conscience and illusion of the first day, but nowadays turned into source of inspiration for any lover of the navigation. At present, the design and the construction of high quality focused on the maximum nautical satisfaction are the premises for the construction of any Jeanneau boat.

There is no doubt that Jeanneau's evolution throughout the years and the navigation of leisure itself go in parallel, being the French brand always a model to bear in mind and a protagonist emphasized in the evolution of the concepts, spaces, uses or possibilities of the ships up to the present time.

Many of the solutions adopted as general in the present boats have born in the departments I + D from Jeanneau and have been taken to the practice in the different production sections. Besides the own designs, the shipyard has also collaborated with important brands of navigation – engine builders , sails companies, etc … - to be able to develop more products in search of a navigation more and more easier, satisfactory, comfortable and effective.
